Welcome to our website and let us tell you a little about ourselves.
Our names are Dr. Aneta and Dr. Ogi and we are both dental surgeons and owners of Listowel Family Dental. We are both graduates of the University of Toronto DDS program, 2 years apart. We have 6 degrees between us, from Pharmacology and Toxicology, Chemistry, Masters of Biochemistry and Microbiology, Masters of Chemistry and Biochemistry, to Doctors of Dental Surgery. We have spent so much time in Post-Graduate studies, that we could have grown an adult human if we added all the years up. It was all worth it, and now we get to do what we love at work and enjoy life outside of work because of it.
We have lived in Listowel since 2012 with our two children, Mila and Nolan. We all love to play tennis, but Nolan is a tennis super-star and competes on the Ontario Tennis circuit, so we travel most weekends to tournaments across Ontario. Mila loves school and anything involving math and reading, she’s an avid Harry Potter and Babysitters Club fan. She wants to be a dentist when she grows up.
Our summers are filled with month long vacations to places like Serbia, Macedonia, Greece, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Germany, Russia, Iceland, Norway, DisneyWorld, DisneyLand, etc. Our winters are filled with weekend-long ski races at Blue Mountain, where our kids compete in Ontario ski racing competitions.
All four of us love food and make it part of every experience. We love any Asian infused food, like dim sum, shumai, bok choy, and fried octopus. We love Balkan food like chevapi, burek, and musaka. Most of all, above all others, we love Sushi, like King Crab, Otoro, Nigiri and Sushi rolls. Mila and Nolan try to keep up with us and test their palates, but we are still working on it. Nolan is not a big fan of Sushi and Mila doesn’t like Indian food just yet.
At work, we each provide a full complement of services and also each specialize in a few areas:

We both do white and silver fillings, crowns, bridges, single and multiple extractions, dentures, implants, and oral sedation.

Dr. Aneta specializes in children’s dentistry, root canal treatments, anxious patients and laser dentistry.

Dr. Ogi specializes in wisdom tooth removal, multi-implant placements, full mouth reconstruction and dentures.
We can only do this because of the great team we employ. We have a wonderful front desk team, assistants, and hygienists that make our practice run daily. Together we strive everyday to provide you with comfortable dental visits and make it our priority to accommodate all dental emergencies and urgencies. Our entire team is highly trained to tailor treatment specifically based on your individual needs.
Of course, we are members of all of the regulatory bodies required/suggested by our governing college: the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
